I would recommend that if Laura's foundations have worked for you in the past, you give this one a go, as it lives up to its promises.įor the rest of you, with skin sensitivities, we will find something dewy, long wearing and moisturizing for us! I promise! It is almost full coverage for me and it feels great on skin. It saddens me to see another great foundation not working out for my skin type, but its definitely a lovely product packaging is a stunning glass pump bottle and matte gold lid. It also felt itchy, so I removed it after a couple of hours with a damp paper towel because I wasn't carrying any makeup wipes. I usually break out on my cheeks but after just one use, I had pimples on my forehead, chin, cheeks, basically all over. The thing that forced me to return it to Sephora, was that it broke me out pretty badly. It does promise to be long wearing and resist oxidation, so that might be true. May be the shade was already so orange for me, that I couldn't notice it deepening or oxidizing in anyway. I absolutely loved how comfortable it feels on skin and I did not notice much oxidation either. It does not have any noticeable fragrance and its enriched with Vitamin C and mushroom extract for antiaging benefits. It blends flawlessly and adds a slight glow on skin that is very summery and youthful. May Contain/Peut Contenir/(+/-): Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Iron Oxides (Ci 77491), Iron Oxides (Ci 77492), Iron Oxides (Ci 77499).Apart from the shade being a little too golden for me, this foundation has a lovely creamy feel on skin. Water, Cyclopentasiloxane,C30 Isohexadecane, Glycerin, Cetyl Peg/Ppg-10/1 Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Hexyl Laurate, Peg-10 Dimethicone, Diphenyl Dimethicone, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Dimethicone, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopherol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp Extract, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Disodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Methicone, Octyldodecanol, Octyldodecyl Neopentanoate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Acrylates/Ethylhexyl Acrylate Copolymer, Magnesium Sulfate, Nylon-12, Aluminum Hydroxide, Silica, Mica, Acetylated Glycol Stearate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Betaine, Phytantriol, Cellulose Gum, Hexylene Glycol, Disodium Edta, Laureth-21, Aminomethyl Propanol, Tin Oxide, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate. If you still want to try it then I recommend getting a sample from Sephora. It won’t discourage me from trying their products in the future though. I personally would not recommend it to any skin type based on how it applied and wore on myself. So, this is nothing against the brand as a whole, I just do not like this product. They release products on their own timeline, and I love that. I think they have a very nice range and I appreciate how many shades they released and the fact that they don’t drop something new every 2 days like we’ve seen. The loose powder is a cult favorite, it’s not a favorite of mine but I simply don’t like many loose powders so that’s not on them. I hear that the latest concealer is amazing, and I also enjoy pretty much all of their concealers. I’ve just not had good luck with the foundations so far. With saying all that, I really do love some of Laura Mercier products. Again, just giving you the most unflattering photos possible.
