![]() There is just so much to do! Where I still wouldn't accomplish everything I wanted in day at my slower speed, my biggest enemy right now is my Stamina as I run out before I need to go to bed (usually anywhere around 10-midnight). I couldn't imagine having to play the game at 100% speed. I slowed the day down as much as I could (50%) and I find it really makes it a lot more enjoyable for me as it gives me enough time to do and accomplish a lot in the day. I only just started the 5th day, but it is already extremely addicting. So I finally created a Steam account (yes, one of those people) and purchased the game. I was originally going to buy the GOG version, as that is what I have used for my PC games before, but then heard horror stories about using GOG, as well. So I finally caved in and bought the PC version. But the final nail in the coffin was hearing the console versions did not have the option to slow down the day, which was the deal-breaker for me. There is also DLC the PC has the console does not have access to. And even the developers stated there are some relics that can't be picked up from the mines, and where they intend to fix it, there is no timeframe. I then went back and forth if I wanted to try it on PS4 instead of Switch, but then heard, besides performance, there are just a lot of things missing from the console version compared to PC. If you want to read directly about my experiences playing the game, and not my reasons why I chose PC (Steam), skip to paragraph 4.Īt first I disregarded the game, as where I have a PC and will use it for games if I have to, I have always preferred console as I can use my TV (and I don't bother with hooking my PC up to my TV, it's a desktop and in my room). I wasn't looking for clones of Harvestella, as I know it is unique in it's own right, but I've always been open to trying more of them as I've always liked the idea of the farming/sim games but just haven't had a lot of experience with them until now. ![]() Well, on another thread I had asked on recommendations about other farming sim games besides Harvestella, one game that came up more than once was My Life was Portia.
